Kleinwort Benson is pleased to announce that Marianne Kafena will be joining the bank in November 2011 as Head of Strategic Wealth Planning.
She will head up a team of tax and financial planning client advisers, and be responsible for determining and implementing Kleinwort Benson’s strategy with external professional advisers.
Kafena moves from Lombard Odier London where she was a Senior Wealth Planner, involved in providing legal support to private bankers in all aspects of international private client and trust work. Prior to this she worked as a Senior Trust Officer and Legal Counsel for Lombard Odier in Bermuda.

Kafena will report to Guy McGlashan, Head of Wealth Management at Kleinwort Benson.
About Marianne Kafena
Marianne Kafena trained as a solicitor at Farrer & Co, London, where she qualified and worked in the International Private Client team.
She studied for her LLB at King’s College, London, where she achieved a first in Jurisprudence and spent a year at The Sorbonne, Paris, studying French Law.
