Business North West 'set for success'

An event aimed at boosting the performances of businesses in the Manchester area seems set to be a success, organisers have said.

Business North West will be held in the city over October 28th-29th and is likely to be ten per cent bigger than 2008’s show, the Manchester Evening News reported.

Nationwide Media Group, which is currently putting the event together, has also indicated that around half of last year’s visitors have rebooked.

This upwards trend is also likely to push overall visitor numbers towards the 6,000 mark.

Business North West has been designed to boost networking opportunities and improve the products and services offered by the region’s entrepreneurs.

Specialist keynote speakers also address delegates at the two-day event - while companies are given the opportunity to exhibit their wares.

Scott Hider, Nationwide Media Group’s managing director, was quoted by the newspaper as saying: ’Clearly, [small businesses] see the importance of marketing themselves aggressively and consequently see the value of exhibiting.

’Businesses which exhibited last year have seen good returns on their investment.’ADNFCR-2318-ID-19320215-ADNFCR
