Kleinwort Benson, recently voted Best Private Bank 2008 [1] , today announces the appointment of Advocate Alison Ozanne as non-executive Director. She will join the KBCI Holdings Board which has oversight of all Kleinwort Benson’sChannelIsland business as of 1st September.
Alison is a highly respected member of the legal profession and was a founding partner of AO Hall Advocates in 2004. AO Hall Advocates is a specialist commercial litigation firm with, amongst others, a particular emphasis on the trust, fiduciary and banking sectors. Alison studied at Oxford, articled and practised in the City of London, and returned to her native roots in Guernsey in 1999. She was called to the Guernsey Bar in 2001.
Kleinwort Benson, operating in the Channel Islands for 45 years, has a reputation of continually developing their business and offering new and innovative services and products to their clients. Alison’s entrepreneurial flair and business acumen will be a great strength to the Board as the business develops further and the financial services industry in Guernsey grows. Alison’s skills, her experience as a litigator and the fact that throughout her career she has had to assess financial information and financial controls means that she will be a real asset to the team.
