Kleinwort Benson, recently voted Best Private Bank 2008 [1] , is pleased to announce the appointment of Colin Rowe as Head of Private Wealth Management Regions.
Colin joins Kleinwort Benson from HSBC where he worked for sixteen years in a variety of positions, most recently as Regional Commercial Investment and Insurance Manager for the West Midlands and Wales. Colin will have responsibility for managing Kleinwort Benson’s growing regional network of private wealth management teams, reporting to Mark Hussein, Head of Private Wealth Management. Colin’s appointment comes at an exciting time forKleinwort Benson which recently celebrated the opening of two new offices in Cambridge and Leeds, adding to their existing regional offering made up of offices in Edinburgh, Newbury, Birmingham and Manchester.
As the demographics of wealth change, shifting away from London towards regional hubs of entrepreneurial activity and affluence, we are witnessing a transformation in the way in which investment advice is demanded. High Net Worth Individuals increasingly reside outside of London and require easy access to their advisers close to where they live. Colin’s appointment to the Private Wealth Management team signifies Kleinwort Benson’s ongoing commitment to delivering an award winning, local service to clients throughout the UK.
