Jeremy Croysdill has been appointed as Head of Tax Services. He has been with Kleinwort Benson since 2005, most recently as part of the Product Advisory team, and in his new role is responsible for the newly unified tax function at the renowned private bank. He will report to Natalie Merrens, Head of Product Advisory.
The Kleinwort Benson tax team offers a complete range of private client tax services, from tax compliance to tax advisory, and is known for developing some of the most innovative tax investment client propositions. Working alongside the company’s numerous teams of private bankers, the tax team is thoroughly integrated into the wider private wealth management group, enabling it to deliver the best possible service to Kleinwort Benson’s clients.
Commenting on his appointment, Jeremy said: "The new team will work with the private bankers based in London and in our network of regional offices and will be able to more easily draw on the depth of knowledge and experience that each individual has within the unified team."
Jeremy began his career at Ernst & Whinney in the personal tax group, transferring to the Private Client Services department of Ernst & Young on its merger with Arthur Young. In 1990 he joined Stoy Hayward in the London Tax Consultancy Group, dealing with high net worth individuals and providing them with compliance and planning initiatives, trust work and IHT advice.
In 2004, following a reorganisation of the London/regional offices, he permanently transferred to the BDO Stoy Hayward Chelmsford office along with a number of London staff, to assist with the development and growth of the Private Client Group in this office. He moved to Kleinwort Benson in 2005.
Natalie Merrens, Head of Product Advisory at Kleinwort Benson, said: "The way in which our tax function is integrated into the wider team of private bankers is unusual in a wealth management firm. It means that we can provide one of the most comprehensive tax services in the industry, and puts us at the forefront of innovation in this key market."
