Socially-responsible investment helped by new guide?

Socially-responsible investment may be supported by a new guide produced for non-profit organisations to help them become more visible online.

Third Sector reveals the Internet Advertising Bureau (IAB) has developed the publication, which aims to make charities easier to find on the internet.

This may encourage socially-responsible investment as individuals with private wealth and professionals seeking asset vehicles might find it easier to choose a worthy beneficiary.

And search-engine optimisation is a crucial component of the kit, as it can help browsers find what they are looking for and enable organisations to attract valuable donations.

Jack Wallington, chair of the IAB Search Council, said: "The [guide] for non-profits has been written by expert practitioners to provide charities with a helping hand in working out how to make the most of this essential online tool."

More than 100 socially-responsible investment funds are now available to asset managers and private clients in the UK.  ADNFCR-2318-ID-800039323-ADNFCR
