Offshore banking to complement 'better' life abroad?

Offshore banking might be a good solution for those who have taken the decision to live or retire overseas, as one expert claims the majority of those who do so consider themselves happier than they would have been in the UK.

Rhiannon Davies, director of expatriate and international lifestyle magazine ShelterOffshore.com, states moving overseas can mean "there is more emphasis on enjoying life rather than living to work to pay off the credit card, mortgage or debt".

And offshore banking could help people realise their dreams, making it simpler to manage private wealth while living outside the UK.

For those who do not live in another country permanently the solution could still ensure monetary security, by reducing taxes and charges paid on money in bank accounts or investment vehicles.

The third annual NatWest International Personal Banking Quality of Life Report reveals 71 per cent of retired expats are happy with their decision to reside in a foreign country.  ADNFCR-2318-ID-800044784-ADNFCR
