Individuals considering ways to shore up private wealth may consider investing in the budding industry, as the beverage specialist claims "we do have a lot to look forward to".

With many people more concerned about food miles and the environmental impact of their purchases, locally-produced drinks could be set to increase in popularity.

This summer's weather supported the volume and quality of grapes, so a continuation of the recent warmer climes would also be likely to help such investments grow.
