Private wealth business travellers 'unconcerned about cost'

Business travellers with private wealth are unlikely to consider the cost of transport, as one expert notes the concern of commercial fliers "is more about the schedule and timing than it is about the price".

Individuals moving internationally for work may also be more likely to take advantage of offshore banking services, as such products can offer advantages when it comes to taxation and consolidation of private wealth.

Norman Gate, director of business travel at Advantage Travel, opines: "The cost doesn't come into it to such an extent, it is more about schedule and punctuality."

Those with private wealth are less likely to worry about the level of expenses, meaning easyJet - which the expert notes is attempting to court such individuals - may find poor demand for its services among this demographic.

On Tuesday (November 16th), the airline revealed its nine-month trading report and future plans, saying it seeks to attract both private and commercial customers.ADNFCR-2318-ID-800243287-ADNFCR
