Rob brings a wealth of experience as a market practitioner and IT consultant to his role as Head of Infra-Structure and Technology. Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson Fixed Income, Rob was founder and Managing Director of EFD Solutions.
At CQS, he was a senior trader at the hedge fund where he had joint responsibility for the European Convertible Portfolio. In addition to the trading responsibilities he advised the IT department regarding the system user requirements.
At CSFB Rob had jobs as a proprietary trader and a research analyst, producing research and client presentations on the European Convertible Bond market with a focus on volatility strategies and prospectus interpretations. He was the business sponsor for the convertible bond eCommerce strategy.
At Deutsche Bank he was a quantitative research analyst, at HSBC a quantitative programmer and Merrill Lynch an IT programmer. Rob started his career at GEC Avionics as a hardware designer, working in a team to design and manufacture one of the three primary flight computers for the Boeing 777 aircraft.
Robert holds a BEng Electronic Engineering from Queen Mary & Westfield College, University of London.
