Guernsey has implemented legislation on intellectual property, which has been modelled on comparable UK and EU provisions. It is proposed that this legislation will be developed to include specific image rights legislation, which will augment legislation already drafted in respect of trademarks, copyrights, designs and performers’ rights.
Guernsey also offers further planning opportunities in addition to the standard company limited by shares, such as private trusts, Protected Cell Companies and Incorporated Cell Companies.
