Andrew is a Portfolio Manager within the Private Bank and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Andrew joined Kleinwort Benson in 1985 and has considerable experience in managing both discretionary and non-discretionary portfolios for high net worth individuals, trusts, investment companies and charities. Between 1986 and 1993 he was also an equity research analyst for Kleinwort Benson Investment Management specialising in Hotels and Leisure and Media sectors.
Prior to joining the group Andrew obtained an honours degree in Natural Sciences from Durham University.

Andrew joined Kleinwort Benson in 2015 as a Private Banker and is responsible for providing integrated bespoke solutions to UK-domiciled and non-domiciled high net worth individuals, families, trusts and charities.
Before joining Kleinwort Benson, Andrew worked for seven years as a private banker at Royal Bank of Canada and Barclays Wealth, where he looked after high net worth individuals in the Sports, Media & Entertainment sector. His areas of expertise include investment management, wealth structuring and lending across residential property and investment portfolios. Prior to that Andrew spent three years working in the sports marketing industry.
Andrew holds a BA (Hons) in International Business Management from the University of Newcastle and professional qualifications in Private Client Investment Advice & Management and the Certificate of Mortgage Advice & Practice. He is also is a member of The Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Outside of work Andrew enjoys playing cricket, golf, and spending time with his wife and baby daughter. He also sits on the committee at Wimbledon Cricket Club.

Andrew joined Kleinwort Benson in 2008. As Head of Portfolio Management, Andrew manages some of the firm’s most significant Discretionary and Advisory mandates.
Andrew read History at King's College, London before qualifying and practising as a solicitor in the 1990s. In the early 'Noughties' Andrew joined one of London's leading stockbrokers where he worked as a portfolio manager. Andrew is an Associate member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment (CISI) and holds the CISI Level 6 Certificate in Private Client Investment Advice & Management.

Andrew joined Kleinwort Benson as Executive Director, Business Development in July 2012.
He is responsible for growing Kleinwort Benson’s relationships with professional advisers, such as lawyers and accountants, drawing on his experience in dealing with professional firms in the UK as well as in offshore markets.
Previously, Andrew was a Partner at Absolute Fund Managers LLP, where he managed the business of their private client-focused hedge fund range. Prior to this he was Vice President at Deutsche Bank Private Banking in London, before moving to Unigestion where he was instrumental in the growth and development of the Family Investment Office. Andrew has also spent a number of years advising high net worth clients in Jersey, primarily at Dexia Private Bank.
Andrew read Business Studies at the University of the South Bank, London and holds the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment - Investment Advice Diploma.

Since arriving at Kleinwort Benson in 1994, Ben has advised private clients, trusts and charities with a wide variety of requirements on all aspects of their investment management and wealth management needs.
Ben has over 10 years’ experience of managing investment portfolios and in prior years has provided significant input into Kleinwort Benson’s investment process with responsibility for analysing medium sized companies across all industry sectors.
Ben leads a team of private bankers who are responsible for providing the full range of Kleinwort Benson’s services to their clients.
Ben is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and has served on this institution’s examination committee.
Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson, Ben served a Commissioned Officer in the British Army with the Corps of Royal Engineers after which he qualified as Solicitor with Barlow Lyde & Gilbert in the City.

Catherine joined Kleinwort Benson from Coutts and Co. having gained twenty years’ experience in the financial services market, the last fifteen of which have been focused in the Private Wealth Client arena. Catherine specialises in delivering a high quality client experience across all aspects of banking. She has developed a keen interest and knowledge in the areas of family business, philanthropy, business entrepreneurs and professional client bases, and is instrumental in organising networking opportunities for the Bank and its clients, while supporting our Private Bankers in all aspects of their role.

Daniel helps advise wealthy clients and their families on all aspects of their financial situation. His specialism is in dealing with entrepreneurs both on their journey towards exit and after it. Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson, he worked with a boutique hedge fund.
Daniel is a member of Tech London Advocates, a private sector pressure group established to promote London as a centre for worldwide technology excellence.
Daniel holds the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment’s Investment Advice Diploma in addition to his Mathematics degree from the University of York.

David Brennan is an Executive Director within the Private Investment Office at Kleinwort Benson. Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson in April 2011, David was a founder and Chief Operating Officer of Karrig Strategic Capital LLP, a family office established for a European Technology entrepreneur.
David has 25 years’ experience in the family office, asset management and investment banking sectors. After qualifying as a chartered accountant with Deloitte & Touche in Dublin he worked with a number of financial institutions in Australia, including Bankers Trust, Macquarie Bank and Zurich Capital Markets Asia before returning to Ireland.
David has particular expertise in streamlining the management of large and complex wealth for ultra high net worth clients.
He is a Fellow of Chartered Accountants Ireland and holds Bsc (Mngt) Honours from Trinity College Dublin.

David joined Kleinwort Benson as an Executive Private Banker in May 2013. Based in London, he focuses on non-UK resident and non UK domiciled clients from Saudi Arabia, Kuwait, UAE and Jordan.
David joined Kleinwort Benson from Coutts & Co where he spent 12 years as a Director in the Middle East Team. Prior to Coutts he worked for ABN Amro in Dubai where he spent three years covering Dubai, Oman and Pakistan. Before joining ABN Amro, David was based in London with ANZ Investment Bank where he worked in emerging market fixed income sales.
David is a Chartered Wealth Manager and he also holds the Certificate in Mortgage Advice and Practice and the Investment Management Certificate.

Delyth is a senior member of the Kleinwort Benson Investment Service team, and sits on the bank’s Investment Policy and Risk Oversight committees reporting to the Chief Investment Officer. Delyth is responsible for a number of deliveries including Funds Research, providing a platform of best of breed third party funds for Discretionary and Advisory client investment, funded model strategies, and management of Kleinwort Benson’s Multi Asset Funds. Delyth is also responsible for the delivery of Structured Product Solutions.
Before joining Kleinwort Benson in 2000, Delyth worked for nine years for an international private bank, initially providing Real Estate Advisory services to bank clients, and then specialising in structuring complex and tailored loan facilities in the credit team.
Delyth joined Kleinwort Benson as a structured credit specialist, later transferring to Kleinwort Benson’s Real Estate team and appointed Head of Real Estate Advisory in 2007. Delyth was appointed Head of Funds Research in 2009, and Head of Investment Solutions in 2015. Delyth is a member of Kleinwort Benson’s Operating Committee.
Delyth holds a BA in Geography from Durham University and an MA in Property Investment and Law from Cass Business School. Delyth is a member of the Royal Institution of Chartered Surveyors and Investment Property Forum, and Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment and Institute of Directors.

He joined the Kleinwort Benson group in 1987 on graduating from Cambridge University.
He worked as an investment banker in the Corporate Advisory business from 1987 to 2001. In that capacity, he worked initially as a member of the team advising HM Government on the privatisation of the electricity industry in England and Wales. Edward was posted to the Far East from 1991 to 1998, where he worked out of offices in Japan, China and Indonesia. On returning to the UK, he advised UK companies on equity capital market transactions and mergers and acquisitions.
In 2001, Edward joined the Private Bank where his clients include a mix of City professionals and entrepreneurs. He has experience of advising private clients on Kleinwort Benson’s full range of wealth management solutions, including investment management, tax, trusts and pensions.
Eric Barnett was appointed Chief Executive Officer (CEO) of Kleinwort Benson following the acquisition of Kleinwort Benson by Societe Generale in May 2016. Eric is also Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros (SGPB Hambros) Chief Executive.
As CEO of Kleinwort Benson, he steers the organisation, and has overall responsibility for implementing the strategic ambitions of the business at the highest level. As part of his new responsibilities as CEO of both companies, his key objective is to develop cooperation between the two entities as they are set out to become one of the leading private banks in the UK and the Channel Islands.
Eric became Societe Generale Private Banking Hambros (SGPB Hambros) Chief Executive in September 2007. Since then he has focused on the development of the firm’s onshore business in the UK and on key strategic international segments such as the French, Indian, Russian, Middle East and Greek markets. He also oversees the SGPB Hambros’ offshore business. Eric is also a member of the Societe Generale Private Banking Exco, with supervisory responsibility for Monaco.
Eric has an MBA from the Cass Business School in London and likes playing and watching a variety of sports and listening to music. He has a keen interest in the Arts and History and occasionally plays the guitar. He is also a Council Member of the Royal Veterinary College, London and a Trustee of The Big Issue.

Fahad Kamal, Senior Market Strategist at Kleinwort Benson, leads on developing and articulating the firm’s macroeconomic views and translating these views into actionable investment strategy in order to enhance investment performance and bolster risk management.
Previously, he was a Program Manager at the FIRMS Project. The FIRMS Project – funded by the US Agency for International Development – was a four-year, $90 million economic program mandated with increasing exports and employment in Pakistan. Fahad began his career in Washington DC with the RiskMetrics Group where he provided research, analysis and recommendations to institutional shareholders on the approval of mergers, acquisitions and restructurings.
He holds an Economics degree from the George Washington University and an MBA from the Cass Business School. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Gene is responsible for portfolio investment strategy at Kleinwort Benson with expertise in asset allocation, security selection and portfolio construction. Gene is a member of the Investment Policy Committee reporting to the Chief Investment Officer, and oversees portfolio recommendations for Kleinwort Benson’s investment management clients.
Previously, Gene was Portfolio Manager and Director of Research for Karrig Strategic Capital LLP, a London-based multi-family office investing across a wide range of traditional and alternative assets in both public and private markets. Gene spent his early career with Thomson Financial and affiliated companies based in Boston, and initially as an engineer with Raytheon Company.
Gene holds an MBA with finance concentration from London Business School and graduated summa cum laude from Binghamton University, New York with a BSc in Computer Science. He also holds the Private Client Investment Management Certificate and is a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.
Gheeve joined Kleinwort Benson in May 2016. He has held previous positions at Lazard and Hannam & Partners. Over the course of his career he has undertaken transactions in Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A), restructuring and equity fundraising in UK, Middle East, Asia and Africa. He holds a BA in Modern History from Kings College London and has an MSc in Finance (Distinction) from London Business School.

Glenn builds relationships within the community of professional advisers, including with lawyers, accountants and trustees. Glenn is also responsible for developing our communications with clients and their professional advisers. One area of his expertise is writing investment proposals for multi-generational families, entrepreneurs, senior executives and charities.
Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson in 2012, Glenn worked for five years in business development at Schroders Private Banking (now merged with Cazenove Capital Management). He has worked previously as a university lecturer, teaching undergraduates English Literature. He holds a BA in English, an MA in Reading Postmodernity and a PhD in English Literature from the University of Leicester.

Jan joined Kleinwort Benson from Goldman Sachs in London where he was an Executive Director in Private Wealth Management for the EMEA region, focusing on portfolio management. He worked there for 5 years. Prior to moving to London in 2010 Jan was based with Goldman in Frankfurt covering sales and portfolio management for Germany, Austria and Switzerland. He primarily works on developing the tools we use to analyse portfolio performance and enhance the investment strategies we offer to our clients. Prior to joining Goldman he spent 2 years with a quantitative asset manager designing their asset allocation models.
Jan graduated from the University of Paderborn with a degree in economics and subsequently completed his MBA. He is also a CFA charter holder. His thesis was on the Effect of Open Market Operations on Financial Markets.

Jordana joined Kleinwort Benson in June 2014. With a background in portfolio management, Jordana specialises in relationship management of international and UK resident non-domiciled private clients.
Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson, Jordana worked at Gulland Padfield, a boutique management consultancy company focusing on private banking and wealth management. Previously, she worked at Ascot Wealth Management where she gained exposure in trusts and estate planning. She also has experience in equities trading, having successfully managed a portfolio of illiquid US-listed stocks.
Jordana graduated with a MSc in Law and Accounting from the London School of Economics. She also holds an MBA and a Bachelor’s Degree in International Finance & Trade, graduating both with Distinction and ranked top of her class.

Joss joined Kleinwort Benson in 2014 from Citi Private Bank where he headed up Citi's Ultra High Net Worth Business Development team in the UK. Prior to joining Citi in 2010, Joss was Regional Head of HSBC Private Bank in Scotland where he looked after some of their largest client relationships as Senior Private Banker. Prior to joining HSBC in 2002, Joss was a global equity portfolio manager at Deutsche Private Bank and Credit Suisse Private Banking. Joss started his career in wealth management in 1987 with Mercury Asset Management.

Katie joined Kleinwort Benson in 2008 as a Private Banker from Barclays, where she spent the previous eight years. Most recently Katie worked as a Private Banker in the Barclays Wealth division, looking after a portfolio of high net worth clients. Katie’s previous roles at Barclays include working as an FX dealer for the Corporate Treasury team and working in their New York Corporate Banking office.
Katie holds the Investment Management Certificate (IMC), the Securities and Financial Derivatives Certificate, the Certificate of Financial Advisors (CeFA), the Certificate of Mortgage Advice and Practice (CeMAP) and the Certificate of Private Client Investment Advice and Management (PCIAM).

Keith first joined Kleinwort Benson in Guernsey in 1991 as Head of Management Accounting rising to Chief Financial Officer in 1999. He left in 2002 but rejoined in Jersey in 2006 in the Corporate Fiduciary division as Head of Fund Services - Jersey. He subsequently performed several other senior roles in Corporate Fiduciary including heading Employee Benefit Trusts, Special Purpose Vehicles and Custodian Trustee teams across the Channel Islands. His current position is within Private Fiduciary as Team Leader for Employee Benefit Services and Corporate Solutions based in Jersey.
Keith has a BA (Hons) in Accounting from the University of Liverpool and became an associate of the Chartered Institute of Management Accountants in 1987. He has over 25 years’ varied experience in the Finance industry working in Bermuda, Guernsey, London and Jersey.

Leigh heads the team responsible for bringing Private Banking solutions to advisers and their clients. With a background in investment management and financial advice, Leigh joined Kleinwort Benson in 2006 and is the founder of the DFM business at the Bank. Leigh has considerable expertise in all wealth matters including long-term planning and risk management.
As well as his client responsibilities, Leigh is a senior manager in the business and has won a number of industry awards, including being voted one of PAM’s Top 40 under 40 in 2013. In 2012, Leigh was recognised as one of London’s leading lights in Private Client management by Citywire. Leigh is also a graduate of the 2009/10 Kleinwort Benson leadership development programme, run in association with CASS Business School.
Leigh is a Chartered Alternative Investment Analyst charter holder and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment. Leigh is a holder of the Securities Institute Diploma and also holds a wide range of financial planning qualifications. Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson, Leigh worked for Ely Fund Managers (now part of Rathbones) and Killik & Co, the advisory stockbrokers.

Malcolm is a Client Director responsible for advising individuals and charities on investment strategy, tax-efficient structures, and governance. Malcolm’s experience spans partnership of stockbrokers Montagu Loebl Stanley, acquired by Flemings in 1986, when he became Director responsible for UK, international and charity clients. Following the takeover of Flemings by JP Morgan Private Bank, in 2002 Malcolm moved to Rothschild Private Wealth Management as Managing Director.
Malcolm joined Kleinwort Benson in 2012 as a Managing Director in the Wealth Management division. Malcolm was a judge for the STEP Private Client Awards 2014/15 and also shortlisted by Citywealth as Private Banker of the year in 2014. He was named MD of the year by Wealth & Finance International in 2016.
He is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities and Investment, and a former member of the Stock Exchange Taxation Examination Committee. In the early 1990s, he was instrumental in the creation of ‘private’ unit trusts and OEICs. Malcolm is Renter Warden of the Worshipful Company of Barbers, and chairs their investment committee. He is a trustee of the University of London, the Household Cavalry Museum, a Governor of the Voluntary Hospital of St. Bartholomew and a member of the investment committee of the Royal Society of Medicine. He is a Fellow of the Royal Society of Arts. Malcolm was formerly Chairman of The Special Trustees of Moorfields Eye Hospital, and a council member of the Association of NHS Charities.

Mark has over 30 years’ investment experience and is a Portfolio Manager and a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment. Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson in December 2009, Mark was an Investment Manager at Dexia Private Bank where he implemented a new investment management operation including the development of new investment models, the implementation of an asset allocation process and the management of globally diversified discretionary managed portfolios for a variety of private and institutional clients.
Mark has worked both Offshore and Onshore during his career with specialisms including fixed income and mutual fund analysis.

Mark Bright joined Kleinwort Benson in July 2010 and holds the position of Managing Director – Channel Islands, with line responsibility for the Private Wealth Management, Fiduciary and Custodian Trustee business lines. He is Chair of the Channel Islands Management Committee and the Group Credit Committee, Managing Director of Kleinwort Benson (Channel Islands) Limited and Kleinwort Benson Channel Islands Holdings Limited and a director of various of its operating subsidiaries.
During his 39 year career in finance, Mark has worked in the Middle East and in Europe. He began his career at the National Westminster Bank in London in 1977 before moving to the bank’s Bahrain offshore banking unit. He remained in Bahrain for eleven years, working at the Swiss Bank Corporation where he was appointed Vice President and Deputy Branch Manager.
Mark moved to Guernsey in 1993 where he joined Credit Suisse (Guernsey) Limited, becoming a member of the Executive Board with responsibility for corporate and custody clients and Head of Business Development. He joined MeesPierson Channel Islands Limited as Managing Director in 2001, before moving to Qatar National Bank’s subsidiary, Ansbacher, where he was appointed as Chief Executive of the Group’s Channel Islands businesses.
Mark has a BSc (Hons) Degree in Financial Studies, and is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He was Chairman of the Association of Guernsey Banks during 2013 to 2015 and has sat on various industry and government committees over the last 15 years.

Mark has 25 years’ experience in financial services, including 20 with Kleinwort Benson. Having held management roles in the provision of private banking and investment services to private clients, he specialised in the provision of services to investment funds in 2005.
Mark is the Head of Custodian Trustee in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man, which provides custody, oversight and control services to collective investment schemes. Services are provided to collective investment schemes based internationally as well as in the Channel Islands and Isle of Man.
He is Managing Director of Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Limited and Kleinwort Benson (Guernsey) Trustees Limited, the business’ custodian companies in Guernsey and a Director of the equivalent in Jersey, Kleinwort Benson Custodian Services Limited and a Director of Kleinwort Benson Trustees (Isle of Man) Limited.
Mark is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment and is a committee member of the Guernsey branch. He is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers. He also sits on the Guernsey Investment Funds Association custodian sub-committee.

Melissa is an Executive Director in the London office having joined Kleinwort Benson in 2006 from Credit Suisse. Melissa spent twelve years at Credit Suisse, both on and offshore working as a portfolio manager and as Deputy Head of the Offshore Advisory desk. Prior to this she worked in fund management for Barings. Melissa is a Chartered Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment, she also holds the Diploma in Financial Services, IMC, CeFA and CeMAP.
In addition to her day job Melissa is an exam panel member for the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Michael is an Executive Director of Kleinwort Benson’s Private Investment Office. Michael manages a wide range of private client, charity and trust portfolios, and is actively involved in the structuring of portfolios with a focus on risk and volatility management.
In 2008 he opened the Kleinwort Benson Cambridge office with the mandate to grow and expand the Kleinwort Benson franchise in the East of England.
Michael has a bachelors degree in European Studies, specialising in German, Politics and Economics from the University of Manchester. He is also a member of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Mouhammed heads up the investment management unit at Kleinwort Benson and is responsible for all aspects of Kleinwort Benson’s investment proposition, leading a team of experienced investment strategists and portfolio managers. Mouhammed is a member of Kleinwort Benson’s Management Committee reporting to the Chief Executive, and chairs the Investment Policy Committee and Investment Oversight Committee. He is a frequent speaker at conferences and events, and a regular contributor to the media. In the past few years, Kleinwort Benson’s investment team has secured a number of industry awards and accolades for excellence and investment performance.
Previously, Mouhammed was Head of Multi-Asset Class investing at Morgan Stanley for Europe, Middle East and Asia, where he was responsible for managing portfolios for private (UHNW individuals and family offices) and institutional (endowments, charities) clients. Prior to joining Morgan Stanley in 2002, Mouhammed spent his early career in the fixed income division of Citigroup’s investment bank in New York, London and Madrid.
Mouhammed has a Masters in Finance with distinction from London Business School, and a Bachelor’s degree with first class honours from the University of London, King’s College. He is also a CFA charterholder and a member of the CFA Institute.
Mouhammed is a board member and trustee for a number of educational charities, and serves as a school governor at a local secondary school. His personal interests include long distance triathlons, hiking and dance theatre.

Nigel Spray joined Kleinwort Benson at the beginning of 2011 as Managing Director of the Principal Investments and Advisory team.
Prior to rejoining Kleinwort Benson, Nigel founded Frontiers Capital in 2001 where he was managing partner. Frontiers Capital was a principal investor in and adviser to high growth businesses in the telecommunications and consumer sectors. Frontiers Capital invested in some 20 companies and all were exited through trade sales or listings.
Prior to establishing Frontiers, Nigel was a Managing Director at Credit Suisse, jointly running its European Consumer Group. His clients included Carrefour, Carphone Warehouse, Castorama and Tesco. He acted on a range of transactions including listings and M&A. Prior to Credit Suisse, Nigel was a Managing Director of Dresdner Kleinwort Benson where he ran the corporate finance department in Paris for four years and also headed its Consumer Group in Europe.
Nigel qualified as a corporate lawyer at Cameron Mckenna. He has a BA in Law from Bristol University.

Patrick is the leader of one of the four private client fiduciary teams in the Channel Islands. Patrick is based in the Guernsey office and joined Kleinwort Benson in July 1984 direct from school. He took up a position as a Trust Administrator later that year and has worked in the Private Fiduciary area of Kleinwort Benson ever since, becoming a Director in 1997, and then Head of one of the administration teams in 2007.
Patrick was educated at Elizabeth College in Guernsey. He qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers in 1994 and became a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners in 1996.

Paul joined Kleinwort Benson over ten years ago from Mercer, a global consulting firm, where he provided wealth management advice to senior executives of the UK’s largest companies. Paul is an Executive Director within the Private Wealth Management division.

Paul Kearney is a Managing Director of Kleinwort Benson and Head of Private Banking. Prior to joining the bank in April 2011, Paul was a founder and managing partner of Karrig Strategic Capital, a family office established for a European technology entrepreneur. Together with his team and clients Paul joined Kleinwort Benson to establish the Private Investment Office.
Paul has a 25-year career in finance, initially qualifying as a Chartered Accountant with Arthur Andersen, where he specialised in the taxation of international transactions and structured investment products. He subsequently joined the start up investment banking and capital markets business of the Zurich Financial Services group, Zurich Capital Markets, where he became Chief Executive Offcer of the European activities of the group and global co-head of the structured finance activities. Paul was instrumental in building the business over five years to over 400 people in seven offices with a USD 15 billion asset base.
Paul has particular expertise in delivering solutions to enable the management and control of substantial investment portfolios, including structuring international asset holding and acquisition structures. He holds an honours degree in Economics and is a board member and trustee of The Opera Group, an award-winning, nationally and internationally renowned opera company, specialising in commissioning and producing new operas.

Richard has over 25 years’ experience in the local private client fiduciary services industry, and commenced his career with Deloitte Haskins & Sells in 1989. After four years with Deloitte, Richard joined BT Trustees in 1993, the Jersey trust company owned by Bankers Trust. In 1995 he moved to The Bank of Nova Scotia, where he became responsible for the running of one of their trust administration teams. He joined Kleinwort Benson as a Trust Manager in 1999 and was promoted to a Trust Director in 2002, where he has responsibility for the affairs of a diverse range of trust and company structures for a multi-national high net worth client base.
In 2011 he was appointed as head of one of the five fiduciary teams in the Channel Islands, with particular responsibility for developing the Middle Eastern client base. He travels to the region on a regular basis, mainly visiting Jordan, Kuwait, Saudi Arabia and the UAE.

Richard Stanwell has worked in Wealth Management for over 18 years and offers a wealth of experience advising individuals, charities, trusts and pension funds in the management of their financial affairs. He is Head of UK Teams and divides his time between Newbury and London. Richard joined Kleinwort Benson in January 2010 from Barclays Wealth where he was a Senior Private Banker.
Richard graduated with a BA Hons in Ancient History, he started his career in the Lloyds Insurance market before working as a stockbroker and Investment Manager, at Killik & Co and then Gerrard Investment Management, where he specialised in managing Ethical Investments. Richard also holds the Advanced Financial Planning certificate, including Taxation, trusts and Personal Investment planning.
Robert joined Kleinwort Benson as Head of Origination for the Private Merchant Banking team in September 2016 from WH Ireland where he was Head of Mergers and Acquisitions (M&A). He has over 20 years’ experience of mergers and acquisitions and capital markets transactions and specialises in advising entrepreneurs on disposals and capital raisings and has strong relationships with both private equity houses and trade acquirers. He previously worked for NM Rothschild for over ten years advising on transactions in excess of $10 billion. He holds an MBA from INSEAD and a BA from Bristol University.

Sarah joined Kleinwort Benson in 2005 and is based in Jersey. As Executive Trust Director she has shared responsibility for business development in the Private Fiduciary area of the Channel Islands business, together with ultimate overview of particular high net worth private client relationships within the Jersey operation, having been involved with Private Client work and specialising in Fiduciary structures since 1981.
Sarah is an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (now known as the Institute of Financial Services), a registered Trust and Estate Practitioner and a member of the Institute of Directors and Jersey Association of Directors and Officers. She represents Kleinwort Benson on the Jersey Bankers’ Association Trust and Jersey Association of Trust Companies committees.

Sean started his career at Lloyds Bank Trust Company, Jersey in 1985 and joined Kleinwort Benson as a Trust Officer in 1989. He subsequently moved up through the ranks of the Trust Company and was appointed as a Director onto the board in 1998. Sean was appointed to the role of Senior Officer of the Jersey Office and Head of Private Fiduciary Services, spanning operations out of Guernsey, Jersey and London, in July 2011. He is now Group Head of Private Client Trust and Deputy CEO Channel Islands Trust Company at Kleinwort Hambros Trust Company.
Sean is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners, having passed the Diploma for International Trust Management with distinctions in all subjects.

Simon heads up one of the four private client fiduciary teams in the Channel Islands and is based in the Jersey office. He commenced his career with Kleinwort Benson in September 1984 and was appointed a director of the Trust company in 1997.
He qualified as an Associate of the Chartered Institute of Bankers (ACIB), now Institute of Financial Services, in May 1992 and he also is a member of the Society of Trust and Estate Practitioners (TEP) joining in 1995. He was moderator in relation to the Certificate in Offshore Administration qualification, on the Introduction to Trusts & Companies and Company & Trust Administration subjects, during the period 1998 to 2006. Amongst his responsibilities, Simon has a focus on servicing and developing our client base in Asia.

Stephen is an Executive Private Banker within the Private Wealth Management team in London, having joined in August 2011.
He has 19 years’ experience in Private Banking and portfolio management. Prior to joining Kleinwort Benson, he was a Client Director at Schroders Private Bank where he advised and managed a diversified portfolio of clients on all aspects of their banking relationship. From 2000 to 2004, Stephen was a fund manager at JPMorgan Private Bank, where he managed a retail fixed interest fund and a number of large private unit trusts, on behalf of clients of the bank.
He holds the Securities & Investment Institute Diploma and is a Fellow of the Chartered Institute for Securities & Investment.

Tim joined Kleinwort Benson in 2014 from Marlborough Trust, an independent fiduciary firm in Guernsey, where he held the post of Head of Business Development and was a director and board member of Marlborough’s pensions company. Tim has nearly 20 years of experience within the Private Banking and Trust industries in jurisdictions such as Hong Kong, Spain and the Middle East.
Having served as an officer in the South African Defence Force, Tim went on to take up a management post in Hong Kong. In 1996 he transferred to Guernsey where he studied for his Investment Management, Offshore Fund Administration and Financial Planning qualifications. Once qualified, Tim worked as a relationship manager at Credit Suisse and in 2002 he joined MeesPierson where he went on to take up the role of manager in the business development team.
